Setting up
One thing you need to get right is a good working
environment. Ideally this needs to be somewhere with
good light and where everything can be left as it is when
you have finished for the day so that you can carry on
where you left off the following morning. Electronic
components can be damaged by static current or by a
stray wire carrying 5V and you need to try to guard
against this kind of eventuality.
Neatness is important as well. It is much easier to
locate a problem if you have followed a logical layout
and can trace back your circuit section by section. It is
also important when you’re collaborating with others
because they will be able to see what you are trying to
do without having to separate tangled wires.
