The closing date of registration is extended to 28 Feb, 2015
In order to give an update of recent flow-cytometry, expand the knowledge and network-building of flow cytometry users, Division of Instruments for Research, Department of Research and Development, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital in collaboration with International Society for Advancement of Cytometry (ISAC) Live Education and Asia Task Force organize the 4th ASEAN CYTOMETRY WORKSHOP & 1st Southeast Asian CYTOMETRY MEETING on March 23-27, 2015 at Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Bangkok, Thailand.
The purpose of this workshop is to interface experts in flow cytometry with people from all over Asian countries especially from ASEAN countries who have interest in flow cytometry and routinely use in their research or clinical practice. This workshop will cover the basics of flow cytometry in research and clinical applications.
This workshop will give a platform for hands-on-training, gaining advance knowledge and discussion of application, difficulties and new ideas. Trainees are required to participate actively and make a positive contribution by discussing their current research, experience and needs.
The workshop composes of many flow cytometry technical modules. Each module has half day training program. The participant is required to complete 6 workshop modules. The selection of the module is entirely determined by the interest of the participants.
1st Southeast Asian CYTOMETRY MEETING
On Monday March 23, prior to the start of the workshop, the 1st Southeast Asian Cytometry Meeting will be held. The aim of this meeting is to bring together flow cytometry users from the region to meet and discuss the use of flow cytometry in the clinical and research fields. We will have guest speakers to present the latest in applications and uses of flow cytometry, and we will also provide a forum for meeting participants to present their data.
It is hope that this meeting will become a regular event, and will provide a forum for flow cytometry users in the region to network and engage with each other in the future.
If you are interested to present your work at the meeting please email Dr Paul Hutchinson (lsipeh@nus.edu.sg) your abstract (include full authors names and affiliations) and your preference for oral or poster presentation. Oral talks will be limited to approximately 15 minutes. Work related to flow cytometry will get first preference.
