Aims of the Study
This study attempts to explore a broad view and in-depth knowledge about the understanding of how Saudi college students in EFL context face listening difficulties. This study aims at: 1. Identifying the Saudi students’ perception to the importance of studying listening comprehension. 2. Identifying which skills were emphasized in their previous education as language learners 3. Knowing how and when the students have the opportunity to listen to English. 4. Finding out kinds of listening comprehension problems encountered by English students at Qassim University. 5. Providing some suggestions for the teacher to help his students overcome these listening comprehension problems
