The subject is a dangerous ground. And resistance, if it continues to be thought as grounded in the subject, will always reinvoke the strongest and most pervasive of metaphysical traditions: of the origin which is prior to the play of discourse. If the subject is indeed metaphysics, or metaphysics in deed---making its disappearance necessary----how then are we to speak or to resist? The problematic of the subject and the possibility of an analysis or theory of resistance that escapes metaphysical assumptions about the subject are at issue here.
