The dewatering process by centrifuging apparently affected the
characteristics of the hydrothermally treated products. It can be
seen from Table 7 that the centrifugal dewatering process can separate
some liquid portion from the raw products, and also can separate
the inorganic chlorine from the liquid portion. Unfortunately,
the dewatering process did not adequately reduce the moisture
content of the products. Therefore, only part of the inorganic
chlorine can be reduced by the single dewatering process and an
additional washing process is still required
