The influence of CABH-2 supplementation in xylitol production with different nitrogen sources (urea, ammonium sulfate, and yeast extract) was also investigated. All nitrogen sources were added tohydrolysates at a concentration of 3 g L−1. A batch xylitol production from CAB hemicellulosic hydrolysate with supplementation of nitrogen sources was performed according to the conditions described in item 2.4.
