Hysteresis
A transducer should be capable of following the changes of the input parameter regardless of
which direction the change is made; hysteresis is the measure of this property. [Labview]
Hysteresis is a strongly nonlinear phenomenon which occur in many industrial, physical and
economic systems.
Hysteresis causes the difference in the output of a sensor when the direction of the input has
been reversed. This produces error and so affects the accuracy of a device.
