The goverment committee handling the water crisis yesterday said that a distribution scheme and other steps to alleviate the results of droght had gone according to the plan. However, the goverment has warned farmers against second-crop paddy because the dramatic drop of water levels at the Bhumipol and Sirikit Dams, which regulate the amount of water in the Chao Praya River, could result in failed crop due to lack of water irrigation.
