Curien et al. (2000, 2001) consider that an individual that has to choose among several varieties of a same good may take into account three types of information: (i) a possible private past experience of consumption of some of the varieties of this good; (ii) an advice retrieved from the online community he belongs to; or (iii) an information on bestsellers provided by an offline retailer.
