Real Life Problem: As team leader you are given a project that is due on Friday. This involves a large amount of information that has to be presented to your department head. You don't have a lot of manpower or time to complete it. You have to take into account the time factor and the expertise of the group of individuals who are working on the project. After meeting with these individuals and talking this over, you discover that one of the individuals has extensive computer background. You delegate the parts of the project to be completed and assign this one employee to design a Power Point presentation from the information that is being gathered. This allows the project to be done in a simple format that saves time, yet yields the information needed. The result is a professional looking project that is finished by the deadline.
