Geng and associates [23] conducted research on obtaining ethanol from horticultural waste. The raw material was subjected to pretreatment (using organosolv method), enzymatic hydrolysis (using Celluclast 1.5L and Novozym 188 enzymatic preparations) and alcoholic fermentation using S. cerevisiae yeast. The research led to producing 11.69 g/L ethanol. This result is close to the one obtained in this paper.
