Person
Visit a branch location in person. Chase provides a list of locations online. Click the "Find a Branch or ATM" link at the top of the homepage. A pop-up search box will appear and allow you to search for locations by zip code, address or city and state. Enter your search parameters then click "Search." You also can click a link to conduct an advanced search. This will take you to another page where you can search for locations based on specific features, such as branches open on Sundays. Upon entering the branch, inform one of the customer service representatives that you wish to close your checking account. She will walk you through the steps.
