Although both Thai traditional massage and Thai herbal
compress are growing in popularity amongThai general public,
the evidence-based data supporting their potential role for
treating OA of the knee has been still limited and warrants
further intensive investigation; this study aimed to explore
the clinical responses and safety of both modalities in shorttermsymptomatic
treatment ofOAof the knee in comparison
to oral ibuprofen, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug
(NSAID).
