Cupid
Cupid has always played a part in the celebrations of love and lovers. He is known as a mischievous, winged child. He shot his arrows into the hearts of his victims, but the arrows didn't kill the people - the arrows made them fall deeply in love!
In ancient Greece, Cupid was called Eros. Eros was the son of Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty.
To the Roman people, he was Cupid, and his mother was Venus, the goddess of love.
