Fig. 3 is a visual representation of the removal rate of CP.
This is the percentage removal from non-treated samples after adhesionof CP.
The removal rate up to 75 MPa increases with raising pressure,while above 75 MPa it decreases with raising pressure.
The highest CP reduction with HHP treatment was achieved at 75 MPa, where the residual concentration is around 2.0 mg/kg
and the removal rate is 76%.
These results appear to support the principle that hydrophobic interactions are weakened at high pressure.
