The DM, ash, CP and ADL contents
were higher in Sesbania than in Napier grass while the OM,NDF and ADF contents were higher in the Napier grass than in
Sesbania. Hence, the DM, Ash, CP and ADL contents of the diets increased as the proportion of Sesbania increased and
the reverse was true for OM, NDF and ADF contents. In this study Sesbania offered to the experimental animals was
dominated by thin and delicate branches which probably had lower fiber content.
