The participants were highly interested in electric mobility usage as defined by early electric vehicle customers (i.e., earlyadopters according to Rogers, 2003). Participants’ interest in adopting new technologies possibly helps non-BEV drivers touse regenerative braking for the first time in a more courageous way, or their experience of the critical range situation leads to a faster eco-driving adoption process. The influence of certain personality traits on eco-driving adoption should be investigated in future research.
