Nakayama has great interest in this system.
I brought the Midas cell to show him. He spend a long time looking at the details and seemed impressed.
Shinsei developed its own Nickel recovery and gold recovery ion exchange system. Nakayama has great interest in this field.
In my presentation I explained that Midas cell should be used with Ion exchangers to get best recovery performance and save cost.
Nakayama san now has a clear understanding of the midas cell, but he still asked for recovery data.
I explained to him that we do not have this data because Shinsei will be our first electronic customer to use Midas cell. Nakayama san understood.
He agreed to test our Midas cell to test its performance. In return we will rent the cell to Shinsei at an exclusive rate.
I will return next next week to discuss the contract for testing and have it signed.
Their current gold recovery data:
Gold plating bath: Au concentration is around 3 - 5 g/l
first W/R bath: Au concentration is around 10 - 20 ppm
After Ion exchange: Au concentration is aroung 0.1 - 0.2 ppm. (VERY low, but higher cost and waste)
