Working cooperatively with others across the organisation to achieve shared goals creates added value. Working across boundaries also allows taking advantage of resources, best practices and generating synergies. Being open-minded and thinking out of the box is a necessary prerequisite for this.
Healthy conflict is another one. It is good for the business, because it clears the air and feedback helps us to become better. We must promote the idea of challenging each other to realise the best possible outcome together, as long as we do it constructively and respectfully. None of us has hidden agendas and, as owners, we want to do what is best for our company.
