Yeah I've done that as well. I generally try to keep campaigns paused until I can double check everything one last time as live traffic starts to flow in.
Before jumping to yet another offer lets focus in on what went wrong here. I know not getting any conversions on ad-spend is frustrating but lets learn from the data we did collect.
