2.12. Statistical analysis
The efficacy of ListShield™ treatment in reducing the number of
viable L. monocytogenes in all foods examined was evaluated by
comparing the data obtained with the PBS (or water)-treated
control samples to the ListShield™ -treated samples. In the AStreated
apples study, an AS control was also compared to PBS and
phage-treated samples. Specific statistical tests performed are
noted in each experimental discussion. Statistical analyses were
performed with the GraphPad InStat (version 3.05) and/or the
