Rest and participation in sports activity were the most relieving factors of LBP in teachers (43.2% and 27.5%,respectively).
Prolonged sitting, prolonged standing, workinghours with computer, and correcting examinationpapers (27.4%, 25.2%, 24.3%, and 15.5%, respectively) were found to be the most aggravating factors among teachers.
As demonstrated in Table 3, 262 (45%) of participants reported to have different management for their LBP.
Of these, 59 (22.5%) had medications only, 47 (17.9%) received physiotherapy, 33 (12.6%) had given a combination of medications and physiotherapy, and 11 (4.2%) had undergone surgery in addition to medications and physiotherapy.
