study, fish fed the control diet and reared at the high stocking
density showed higher moisture values than those raised at the low
stocking density. This difference may be related to the dynamic
deposition of these elements in the different stages of tilapia
development. The fish raised at the different densities exhibited
different sizes, and heavy fish usually accumulate more lipids and
exhibit a reduced whole-body water composition.
