Business Traveller Africa editor Dylan Rogers said he is delighted that the awards have grown so significantly since their launch two years ago, and would like to see them grow even further.
'What is encouraging is the increased interest in the Business Traveller Africa Awards and the high number of responses we received to the voting survey this year. It was pleasing to see such a high calibre of attendees at this year’s event. It’s clear that the South African business travel industry supports an event that rewards excellence in this space, and the event itself has grown in stature.'
The event kicked off with the broadcast of a video interview with Tourism Minister Derek Hanekom, with well-known TV anchor and Business Traveller Africa consulting editor Jeremy Maggs asking the tough questions.
