as 100%. Hence to get the best possible comparison
between the experimental and theoretical results,sults during daytime as compared to that during
nighttime. This agreement slowly shifts towards
nighttime as the water depth in the basin is increased from 0.05 m to 0.15 m in active mode of
operation. The values of root mean square deviation and coefficient of correlation between experimental and theoretical results are also given in
the same figures for statistical analysis of the results. The higher value of root mean square deviation is due to very low value of distillate output
during the night. The value of coefficient of correlation lies in the range between 0.91 and 0.99,
which shows the fair agreement between the experimental and theoretical results
