Job Responsibilities:
Manage sourcing of Japanese fresh and ready-to-eat food categories as well as coordinate between international sourcing, local sourcing (national and regional)
Develop Japanese & Asian ready-to-eat assortment strategy, concept, merchandising and display
Identify opportunities, related trend and up to date product lines in Japan and Asia
Correspond with Japanese suppliers and build good business relationship
Become contact point of Japanese related partners
Train local team on Japanese best practices adapt to local environment
Enhance product knowledge and develop team
Establish strategic growth priorities and enabling operating improvement link to Japanese ready-to-eat and ready-to-go food
Optimize supply chain between cross-dock, centralized, supplier production and Direct to store deliveries to ensure consistent quality and availability of ready-to-eat in answer to customer's need
Lead product development including packaging, presentation & display, communication, promotion link to effective implementation of the concept
Work with Vice Presidents on suppliers, consignment & self-production concept and implementation
