4. Discussion
The present study revealed that the gender, family history
of febrile seizures, breast-feeding duration, and high body
temperature are among the risk factors associated with the
first febrile seizures in children. Febrile seizures are the
most common type of convulsion in children diagnosed in
3%-4% of children worldwide. Although the exact cause
