In this paper, some unbalanced TPs are considered in fuzzy-stochastic environment. Here transportation costs are fuzzy- stochastic and the total amount of availability at the sources is more than the total amount of demand. Different types of budget constraint are also imposed on the TPs. Here, defuzzification and de-randomization have been perform in two ways. For the first procedure, a-cuts have been determined against the impreciseness and then mathematical expectation is taken over the lower and upper a-cuts separately. In the second procedure, fuzzy-random events for ðn P rÞ and ðn 6 rÞ are realised and then credibility measures of these event are evaluated. Finally, the linear unbalanced transportation problems reduce to non-linear programming problems which are solved using a real coded genetic algorithm (GA). The models are illustrated with some numerical data.
