They have many skills to offer including their ease with computers but, from the very beginning of their job, they want a lot of return such as good benefits, flexible working hours, chances to travel and extra training . gen Y feel like they 'deserve' records, importance, and attention as they see themselves as more adaptable and highly-skilled workers than previous generation . They are also impatient for success and really want to achieve high positions in their fields of work. However, it should also be remembered that Gen Y are the most educated generation of all time, and the generation that has paid the most money for its education. This may be why they also want to earn high salaries from the beginning of their working career.
