StanC] I use online banking most days, have always used it for CAM Fees, so yes I use “Transfer to a Different Bank”.
I have tried paying my CAM Fee from two different bank branches and get the same error, while other “Transfers” work OK. You are probably aware that when you make a transfer to another bank account using the major banks in Thailand, before the transfer is made, say from Bank “A”, t Bank “A” systems contact Bank “B” check the account and return the name of that account holder to Bank “A”’s customer as a check that the payment will go to the correct person. It Is this “check” step that fails and returns the “Account Inactive” status to Bank “A”. This suggest SCB is showing our account as inactive. I have sent a written request to my bank to run a trace to confirm and will let you know their answer when I get it.
