KOH offers a setting and ambience like nowhere else on the island. Helmed by Executive Chef Alex Garés, KOH’s kitchen is a creative workhouse for authentic Thai cuisine, offering flavours that speak for themselves.
Going back to the roots of some of the island’s favourite dishes, Garés and Sous Chef Sumalee Khunpet, also known as Chef Jeab, have created a menu that is at once genuine and straightforward, but that also introduces less-familiar Thai recipes and flavours.
Designed by architect Bill Bensley of Bensley Design Studios, the restaurant makes the most of its position on a palm-covered hilltop on the north-western tip of Koh Samui. The open-sided, open-air dining venue is at one with its surroundings, showcasing a contemporary space that is distinctly Thai in style.
