Statistical analyses
Analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used to investigate whether or
not the differences in abundance of meiofauna and nematodes
among sampling stations and sampling times were significant.
Before the analysis, normality of data was checked and, when
necessary, data were transformed appropriately. The homogeneity
of variance was assessed by Cochran’s test. Pearson’s correlation
analysis was carried out to test correlation among various
indices and contaminant concentration.
