Mass multiplication of biocontrol agent
The mass inoculum of T. viride was raised in Erlenmeyer flasks
(250 ml) containing groundnut husk in distilled water and
autoclaved for two consecutive days for 1 h at 121°C. Each
flask was inoculated separately with the fungal strain and
incubated at 28±2°C for 7 days. The conidia of T. viride was
separated and quantified using a hemocytometer and the
population was set to 1×106 spores/ ml to be used for the
seedling treatments.
