The mother of student still detained in pakistan tor allegedly trying to smuggle a handgay has called for justice for her son,whe said could have been framed.
Tuan Abdulrosah Loji,28,from pattani,remained in custody yesterday,while four others--Abhisit Mad-ad from Songkhala, Taechit Boonmalert from Chachoengsao,Faruk Sutok from Krabi and Sakkariya Songlong from Trang have been released. They are expected to arrive back in Thailand today.
The five were stopped at Lahore air-port before they boarded a Thai Airways International flight back to Bangkok on Monday. A 9mm pistol,bullets and a magazine were found in Mr Tuan's baggage during a security check at the airport.
In pattani's Nong Chik district, investigators met Mr Tuan's elder sister, Tuan Habeeya Loli,30, and his mother, mareeyae Muso,51.
Ms Tuan said she was shocked by her brother's arrest, saying he called her at 10pm on Monday. He told her an Islamic religious teacher,know as an uslaz,in pakistan asked him to carry a sheepskin box to an ustaz in Thailand.
She told her brother not to take the box,but the insisted he wented to help the teacher by taking is to Thailand. Mr Tuan believes the gun was in the box and her brother is a victim.
Ms Mareeyae believes by her son agreeing to take the box he was framed." if it is possible, i want to talk with my son,
