Consumers can still download and use competing products such as
Realplayer, but Microsoft is obviously encouraging them to use its own
services which are conveniently preloaded and prominently
displayed. Is all of this more of the same from Microsoft? Is it illegally leveraging XP to extend its dominance into new markets such as instant messaging? Are these legitimate enhancements or is Microsoft continuing to arbitrarily stretch the definition of an operating system.
Finally, is Microsoft continuing to create obstacles for competitors and for the freedom of consumers.
