CAD/CAM/CAPP systems have been used to support traditional centralized controlled manufacturing systems.On the other hand, the introduction of a new concept and methodology is needed to support process planning for autonomous decentralized manufacturing systems [2].
There have been several attempts. One example is the holonic manufacturing system [3] [4] [5]. In this system, a manufacturing activity unit such as a machine tool,
assembly machine and/or AGV is configured as a holon.Multi-agent technology is also being well applied for this type of manufacturing system [6]
