Organizational culture in service firms will be related to HRD interventions. In an
attempt to illustrate the role of organizational culture in the HRD interventions in service
firms, we examined two organizational dimensions—team orientation and respect
for people (O’Reilly et al., 1991)—to be important for service firms (Koutroumanis &
Alexakis, 2009; Ogbonna & Harris, 2002). These relationships are discussed below
