I just had to share an awesome testimonial I had with Young Living Essential Oils!

As some of you may know, I recently became a distributor of Young Living Oils and love the new adventure I am on. I just love sharing information with people that I know may help them in their walk in life.

For me, as of right now, I am 41. 2 weeks pregnant- and yes… still loving it! For the past few months though, my sweet baby has been in a posterior position. Also known as a “sunny-side-up” baby. It’s not the worst thing but it CAN produce a bit longer labor or even back labor. Neither of which I was too fond of the idea.

On my new journey using natural God-given essential oils, I researched a little and happened upon a possible solution: (would you ever think there was an oil to turn a posterior baby?? Well… there is!)

Rubbing peppermint oil on my lower back could help to turn baby into the correct position. Simple as that.

(FYI- peppermint oil is also used to help turn breech babies.)

On Thursday, March 27, 2014, I decided to try it out. I rubbed peppermint oil (mixed with almond oil) on my lower back about 4-5 times throughout the day. I didn’t tie the two together until later, but that entire day, I had lower abdomen constant cramping going on. It wasn’t super painful but didn’t stop whether I rested or not. I thought it was the beginning of labor. That evening, I literally thought my water broke (it didn’t.) But things were happening. The next day and days after that, nothing else happened so I clearly did not begin labor but kept wondering what was going on that whole day.

At my midwife appointment on Tuesday, April 1, 2014, my midwife did all the usual check ups on baby and I. And lo and behold, she discovered that my baby had turned into the correct position and was no longer posterior! I was quite happy and quite amazed! I told her about the peppermint oil and asked if that could have been what did it. She said absolutely! Then we related it to the day that I applied it non-stop and what my body was experiencing that day- baby must have been turning and moving things around which caused all the cramps and leaking! How awesome! God’s natural oils made my baby turn into perfect birthing position! Praise God!

My husband has always been a bit skeptical about essential oils but when I told him that this peppermint oil could possibly make baby turn, he said, “If that happens, I will be a believer that these oils really work.” Guess who likes oils now too!? My hubster! Besides the fact, that he is so grateful to God for bringing baby to a great position in the womb.

This is just a TID BIT of what these oils can do! I’m so excited to be able to share the greatness of these natural oils with people and look forward to sharing more testimonials in the future. I also will be writing a blog about how oils were used in the Bible and how precious they were to people and how God used them in peoples lives. Tune in for that!
