Dear Everyone:
Hello from Monday afternoon in Singapore.
As many of you already know we have just completed a transition in our Human Resources department and as of the end of last week Meg Galletti has handed over the reins to Khun Preeya Pramukkul.
Meg has done a stellar job over the last 18 months or so and we are in a much improved place in every aspect of the HR discipline both at Home Office and in the field. Meg's work on Vision and Values, our recent first HR Conference and issuance of extensive HR Guidelines are just a few achieved milestones on our journey together.
Meg will be remaining with our owning company, Pegasus Capital and will be assisting with HR matters throughout Pegasus’ extensive portfolio and we wish her great success going forward.
And now to Preeya and her official welcome. In case it didn't register Khun Preeya or “Mam” as she's called is Thai and has an extensive background in our world.
We worked together at my former company in the 90's when she had a regional HR role. She has been a Spa Director, a Hotel General Manager, a Peace Corp worker and most recently headed HR for Premier Group of Companies looking after HR for their portfolio. She also has a degree in linguistics and two musician sons.
I'm personally delighted and am excited that Preeya has chosen to return to our industry and Six Senses. She tells me that the company embodies the values that are important to her and that was a big part of her motivation to join us.
Ultimately our success in HR, however, will be a result of a great HR team at Home Office, tremendous HR professionals in the field that continuously express our values and our group of
General Managers, Managers and hosts at all levels in our resorts and spas that behave every day in accordance with our beliefs.
Meg has made a great contribution and Preeya will continue to do so. It’s wonderful to have such accomplished people around us.
Have a great week.
Neil.
