Josh Bleill, Indianapolis Colts Community Spokesperson
Marine Corporal Josh Bleill [Bly-ul; rhymes with “Kyle” or “smile”] is a native of Greenfield, Indiana. After graduating high school, Josh attended Purdue University. Upon completion of his education, Josh decided to serve his country by joining the United States Marine Corps in 2004, and was activated for a tour of duty in Iraq in 2006.
While serving in Iraq, Corporal Bleill was severely injured, resulting in the loss of both of his legs. After extensive rehabilitation, Bleill returned to Indiana in August of 2008, where he attacked his new life head-on. This new life included employment as the Indianapolis Colts Community Spokesperson.
Indianapolis Colts Owner, Jim Irsay, has described Bleill as “very talented, bright-eyed, and skilled,” and Josh now travels the country to spread his message of hope, “one step at a time.”

The conference will be held Tuesday, October 28, 2014, in Phillips Hall, first floor, Siebens Building, 100 Second Avenue SW, Rochester, Minnesota.
Intended Audience
The conference is designed for nurses, physical therapists, and all other healthcare professionals interested in the care of orthopedic patients.
Continuing Education Credit
Mayo Continuing Nursing Education is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
Participants can earn up to 6.25 nursing contact hours (accredited) for the conference.
Register before October 7, 2014
The conference registration fee of $155 includes instructional materials, breakfast, and break refreshments. A student rate of $85 is available. Please bring proof of current student status to the conference (for example, a copy of your student identification card). Pre-registration is required and preferred by Tuesday, October 7, 2014. Registrations received after October 7th will be accepted on a space-available basis.

• Explore orthopedic innovations to advance the care of the orthopedic patient.
• Provide resources to optimize orthopedic patient experience including preparation and recovery process following surgery.
