STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM
Though the Bar Model of Teaching mathematics has been in practice Singapore and a few other countries of the best for more than, the potential of this method seem to have escaped the notice of Indian academics and educational researchers. As an attempt to fill the research gap in this vital area, the present study has been undertaken to find out the effectiveness of the Bar Model of teaching in enhancing the leaning of mathematics at the primary level.
