When it comes to interacting with hotels, restaurants, and other service providers, however, you keep things online. You don’t complain to the manager about a dirty bathtub, but you’ll put a photo of it on Instagram, and although you really don’t need turndown service, you do expect the hotel’s customer service to reply to your tweet within the hour.
