To evaluate test specificity, 150 n

To evaluate test specificity, 150 negative sera are
tested simultaneously with PT-Toxoplasma-IgMELISA
and chemiluminecense method. Results
displayed 148 negative and 2 positive results
which in test repeat 1 became negative.
According to test results the PT-Toxoplasma-
IgM-ELISA showed 99% specificity. To assess
possible interference of ANA and RF with this
kit 14 samples(9 ANA positive and 5 RF
positive)which negative for Toxoplasma IgM by
two commercial ELISA kits(Trinity biotech and
viro immune)were assayed on the pishtaz teb.
All samples have negative results by Pishtaz teb
kit
