Body size is a potential source of inter-individual variability in
environmental adaptation performance. Large fish are indeed
believed to be more tolerant to hypoxia than small fish (Nilsson
and O¨ stlund-Nilsson, 2008) whereas thermal sensitivity is
thought to decrease with body size(Clark etal.,2008). However,
information about whethe ra trade-off exists between these traits
and how they may scal ewith body mass is scarce.
