Panels (b) and (c) show the lengths of dry and wet spells. A day is dry if daily
precipitation is equal to zero, otherwise it is wet. In both cases the probability is
calculated using all the grid cells of the area of interest. SFR corresponds to SAFRAN,
QM to the quantile mapping downscaling method and, finally WT corresponds to
the weather typing method.
