Flowering took 100.115-d from the start of temperature treatments given to 95-d old plants, as day temperatures were increased from 18 to 30.C, responding linearly to temperature (Table 4).However, plant height, influenced by quadratic effect of temperature, was the tallest (9.6.9.8 cm) when grown at 24.C or 27.C and the shortest at 18.C (8.2 cm). The number of flowers, influenced by quadratic effect of temperature, produced the highest number of flowers (26.5) at 24.C and the lowest
number (21.2) at 30◦C.
