In this study, total antiprotease activity,
in terms of mean serum antitrypsin activity, increased in the I2-diet
group relative to the control group during the 2ndweek, but the overall
antiprotease regime in the I2-diet (79.72±0.34 to 81.6±0.15) and
control (79.66±0.11 to 81.6±0.11) groups was similar.
