Queen Sri Bacharindra built this two storey building as the library. The eastern and western wings are of one-storey. The floor and the lower staircase are faced with marble. The gable board and portal are decorated with stucco in the form of Thai twisted plant designs and the Queen's initials in gold on both storeys. The ceiling is painted red with application of gold leaf in the pattern of golden stars. The pillars are in brick and mortar with gilded lotus motifs and glass mosaic. The walls are also in brick and mortar. The roof is covered with coloured ceramic tiles with traditional decorations.
At present it is used as the museum of the temple with the collection of a large number of old Buddha images such as the image of Phra Fang, a fully dressed image of the Ayutthaya Period which King Chulalongkorn had brought from Uttaradit Province and placed in the front porch. The image of Phra Buddha Narasiha which was duplicated from the original at Amphonsathan Palace, used to stand as a temporary image in the ordination hall. Before Phra Buddha Janaraja was copied to be placed there.
