Let's start off with the body products, shall we? Their Argan Oil Shower Scrub* was something that I had my eye on on their website. I've never used a shower scrub with a pump before, and couldn't wait to see how efficient it would make my body buffing routine. Unfortunately the pump was not at all effective, as the little exfoliating particles gathered in the pumping mechanism so that it didn't work anymore! This wasn't a big problem, as I could just unscrew the lid and pour the scrub into my hand. It has a light scent which is quite soothing, but the gentle exfoliation also refreshes you. I'd say that it is mild enough to use on a daily basis, while its moisturising properties and chamomile scent also make it ideal for nighttime use.
The Thai Lime and Ginger Hand & Body Lotion* was also a real treat to use. Thin in consistency and easily absorbed, it's a simple product that does what it says on the tin. In fact, when I put it to the test by using it on one half of my body and my regular moisturiser on the other half, even my boyfriend said that it came out on top! The scent is another thing that I love about this product; if you know anything about me, you'll know that lime is one of my favourite smells. The lotion has tones of both lime and ginger which is not at all overpowering, yet somehow manages to balance the ability to keep you feeling calm but also awake at the same time!
In terms of facial skincare products I had one toner and one moisturiser from Janjira to try out, too. The Pomegranate & Acai Facial Deep Moisturiser* has a sweet, fruity smell which was very pleasant. I used this last thing at night, and found its light texture very easily absorbed into the skin which left me with a lovely glow. This put me off using it in the morning as I would have to wait a bit longer than usual before applying my makeup, but leaving it over night gave it a chance to absorb properly. It certainly felt very luxurious to use. My only criticism would be that even though the scent wasn't overpowering, the fact that it is artificially perfumed puts me off using it on a regular basis. I am a fan of the glow it gave my skin, so perhaps I will employ it as a bedtime pamper treat!
Finally, we have the Therapy toner*. This has to be my favourite of all of the products that I tried; not only is it paraben-free, but it's alcohol-free too which made it feel really gentle on my skin. You still don't want to use too much, but I found it lovely to use in the evenings to keep my skin feeling balanced without being dried out. It doesn't have much of a scent, but I prefer that for skincare products. If anything it has a similar, natural chamomile scent to the argan body scrub. Perfect for use in the morning, or evening; this without a doubt has found its way into my permanent skincare routine!
