Fifa President Sepp Blatter Says Jeffrey Webb Is Ready to Replace Him Soon
Sepp Blatter, the long-serving head of the Fifa, said that he will step down "in the near future" and could be succeeded by vice-president Jeffrey Webb, 49.
In 2011, Blatter already indicated that his current four-year term will be his last. The 77-year-old has led the world´s governing body for soccer since 1998.
Fifa´s Congress is to elect a president in 2015 in Zurich.
